5th Annual Memorial Golf Outing

The Kevin Tonero Memorial Fund

was established by friends and loved ones after his sudden passing in 2022. 

The goal in 2023 was to honor Kevin, gather good people and raise financial support 

for his children’s educational endeavors. 

MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED!

Based on Kevin’s life mantra, “if you’re gonna be a bear, be a grizzly”,

We aptly named the annual fundraiser and golf outing:

is to honor Kevin’s big heart and boundless generosity for people in a time of need. 

“The Grizzly” was a great success, and embodied all that Kevin loved:

FAMILY, FRIENDS, GOLF, DRINKS, LAUGHTER and GIVING

As we prepare for the 5th Annual GRIZZLY, we invite you to team up with us!

We are committed to finding a family or families in a difficult season of their lives

and together we will ease their burdens and lift their spirits.

And in true Kevo form, 

we’re going to have an outrageously good time while doing it!

This year, The Kevin Tonero Memorial Fund is fundraising to support
Lily Green of Denville, NJ.

At just 23 years old, Lily Green is bravely facing a rare and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Lily was about to begin her final clinical fieldwork assignment at NYU Langone in acute care - the last step in completing her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She has spent the past 5 years working tirelessly towards this dream, preparing for a fulfilling career dedicated to helping others.

The Green family - Jim, Louise, and siblings Freddie and Isabel-are facing not only the emotional weight of this diagnosis, but also the overwhelming and unforeseen financial costs of treatments, travel, and lost income while Louise takes leave from Tiffany’s and Jim trims back his Thatcher’s schedule to be a part of Lily’s care.
